“Outfitting People for Jesus”

Vision

“Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest awhile.” Mark 6:31

Bo and Cathy Lowe During the summer of 1992 the Lord showed Bo a vision of packing around the back country as well as working cattle alongside other cowboys residing in these remote locations of the west, bringing the light of Christ to them and their families.

The next two years were spent in intensive study at Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. After he graduated in 1994 we returned to northern Nevada to put our hand to doing what we knew to do along these lines. We began with day working on the ranches to establish lasting relationships with the people and preaching the Good News wherever possible. In the fall Bo packs for Cottonwood Ranch Hunting. Meanwhile as we began delighting ourselves in the Lord, He gave us a desire our heart, to have a working cattle ranch to be used for His glory in several different ways. (Psalm 37:4)

A place of refreshing:
Where pastors, ministers, missionaries and others can come with their families for a time of refreshing on a working cattle ranch. Here they can enjoy the beautiful scenery, join in on the day’s activities, go on a pack trip or just get quiet with God.

A learning center: To Spur one another on.
Host special seminars, conferences and training sessions to train cowboys, ranch families and other interested parties who can go back into their world and spread the gospel.

Outreaches:
Invest in the lives of young people through various youth outreaches.
Host Cowboy Campmeetings.
Hold cowboy church services and bible studies wherever cowboys gather.
Public horseback riding
Wagon rides.
Dinner rides with family entertainment.

Ministry Support:
Raise cattle to generate income that can be used to support the ministry as well as our satellite works such as a pastor in Jarbidge, Nevada.

visiting and enjoying the view Morning Star Outfitters, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit organization, supported by public contributions and other ministry support.

We have recently acquired property that fits these needs and serves as a ministry headquarters as well. We will be endeavoring to fulfill the call of an “Outfitter” (one who takes people to places they have never been and supplies everything they will need for the trip). It is our desire to equip people both physically and spiritually. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping (OUTFITTING) of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Eph 3:11-12)
